Constructive Space choose CHICKS as their 2019 Charity of the Year

Staff at Constructive Space were invited to choose their preferred, official charity partner in late 2018. An overwhelming majority of staff cast their vote for the national children’s charity, CHICKS. The partnership will see the team, led by Nick Hull and backed by company owners, Dan Jones and Terry Froud, join forces in fundraising events, plus raising thousands of pounds in donations to the charity.

CHICKS provides free, week-long respite breaks for hundreds of children and young people living in desperately difficult circumstances across the UK that works with children and young people across the UK.

Partnership Manager, Sara Jefferson said: “We are hugely grateful to Constructive Space for choosing to support CHICKS as its Charity of the Year. We are totally overwhelmed by the organisation’s commitment to raise £15,000. This incredible support will make a huge difference to so many children’s lives. We look forward to hearing more about your fundraising efforts and seeing you as volunteers on a CHICKS break in 2019. Huge thanks again from all of us here at CHICKS.”

Robert White, Commercial Manager at Constructive Space said: “After attending the CHICKS 25th Anniversary Ball, Constructive Space had no doubts about which charity we’d be choosing as our next Charity of the Year. The incredible work CHICKS do in providing these special breaks to children who usually don’t have the privilege of a holiday is more than admirable. I can speak for our whole team when saying we’re delighted to be supporting such a worthy cause.”
